Ball State University Museum of Art Collection

The digital images in this collection are artwork from the Ball State University Museum of Art collection. The museum's collection covers a range of six continents and 5,000 years of culture, and includes Ancient, Medieval, 17th Century, 18th Century, 19th and Early 20th Century, Asian, Ethnographic, and Decorative works of art. D.I.D.O., or Digital Images Deliver Online, is an ongoing project to digitize the 11,000 individual artworks in the museum collection that was generously funded by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) and a Ball State University Enhanced Provost Initiative. Presently this collection is in a test phase. Our first 100 images are available representing European and American painting and sculpture. The images of this collection are available for private and academic use. For publication information please contact the Associate Director of the Ball State University Museum of Art.
