The Biology Department Lantern Slide Collection contains images that document Ball State University's campus, the Indiana landscape, and Indiana Dunes State Park. The images were scanned from lantern slides formerly used to support teaching and were donated to Archives and Special Collections by the Ball State University Biology Department. The photographs were primarily taken by Clyde E. Volkers in the 1920s.
