The Muncie Redevelopment Commission was formed on July 3, 1973 under Muncie, Indiana city ordinance number 440-B. The ordinance created the Muncie Department of Rehabilitation and the Muncie Redevelopment Commission. The Commission provides loans to property owners to rehabilitate properties in "blighted" areas in the City of Muncie.
