This digital collection provides online access to historical records of the Ball State University Department of Biology (formerly part of the Ball State Teachers College Science Department) dating from 1932 to 2006. Included are records pertaining to the department's administration of the Christy Woods outdoor biology teaching laboratory and Ball State's Field Station and Environmental Education Center properties included the Donald E. Miller Wildlife Area.
The collection provides access to 385 historic photographs documenting Christy Woods, the Donald E. Miller Wildlife Area, biology education, and the history of the Department of Biology at Ball State. The collection also includes historic documents including Christy Woods brochures, guides, and maps and newsletters from the Department of Biology.
